Piano Solos Vol. 1 is the debut album release for A. J. Pickering and as the title suggests, he plans to do more. You would be forgiven to think that each track has been painstakingly worked on to ensure recurring motifs and theme developments but each track is actually improvised and recorded in one-take. Adam has a special ability to create something spontaneous and yet somehow fully formed in a single moment. Fortunately for the rest of us, we are able to witness these moments unfold as each track was captured on camera. Follow A. J.
